Within the last years, KessTech has improved its processes further and further to meet its own high standards and also the demand of the customers. To appropriately reflect this and to be able to document it, KessTech decided to be audited externally in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 9001 (2008). During the whole year, further quality processes have been implemented in the company. In an audit in August 2016, KessTech got great results in the areas of Development, Production and Sales for legal adjustable exhausts for motorcycles. KessTech has been certified with the quality certificate according to DIN EN ISO 9001 (2008).
To further improve the quality of our products and processes, KessTech recruited Andrea Silva as Quality Manager to start at 15th September 2016. After her studies in „industrial engineering“ with an additional education for „Quality Systems and Productivity“ in Mexico, Andrea decided to move to Berlin to attain the Master of Science in „Global Production Engineering in Manufacturing“ at the Technical University to further strengthen her knowledge in Quality Management. Amongst other things, Andrea Silva led the whole quality management system and the environmental system unit at a big supplier of Brembo, LuK and General Motors. She also worked at Schaeffler in Schweinfurt. At KessTech, Andrea Silva will take over and lead the Quality Management efforts.
Today, KessTech is market leader for electronically and mechanically adjustable legal exhaust systems. The high-quality systems are developed and produced by highly motivated and specialized personnel at the location in Obertheres. Within the meantime KessTech has sold over 30.000 exhaust systems – in particular for motorcycles of the brand Harley-Davidson and now also BMW. KessTech has made its way into the scene and our offer is steadily rising.
